NEW ICE HOCKEY NEWS !! 2011 MINI TOURNAMENT IN INVERNESS !!

Malcolm Wilkie (my brother) who lives out in France is bringing a French veterans
Ice Hockey team across to play in a mini tournament in Inverness.
If you could try and promote the weekend’s events for us that would be fantastic.
I will give you a schedule below and if you want any more info please drop me an email.

Friday 9th September

Everyone arrives at the Cairngorm Hotel 6pm

"Ski-ing Doo" is booked from 7pm meal and Bagpiper (Sean Stuart)

11pm Depart back to the Cairngorm Hotel

Saturday 10th September


Malcolm is trying to arrange a trip up the Cairngorms for the French team (morning)

Depart for Inverness Ice rink 2pm. Games start 5pm through until 9pm

3 teams - a French veterans team, a veteran Aviemore team & the Flintstone Flyers in a "round-robin" tournament

Drinks in Ice Rink Bar

Back to Cairngorm Hotel

Sunday 11th September

Kenny Macdonald organising Distillery Tour for French team and anyone else who wants to go on it (morning)

2PM function room in the Cairngorm Hotel booked 2pm till 7pm with a Scottish Ceilidh Band, Accordion, Drums, Fiddle Player.

This is for all the teams, family and friends so this would be a good event to promote as we will be
holding a raffle with prizes in aid of the "Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Service".

Entry is open to everyone with donations on the door by way of admission.
