SRU RUGBY (Scotland vs. New Zealand All Blacks)
Murrayfield 8/11/2008

Not that this has anything to do with Aviemore, but it’s Scottish, so that’s good enough for me!!
Always wanted to go to a rugby match and on the 8^th November 2008, we finally made it when
we went to Murrayfield to see Scotland play the NZ All Blacks.  Unfortunately, Scotland got beaten,
but so what.  Just being there was amazing.  The atmosphere was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.



I have to admit that my main reason for going was to see Chris Paterson.  I adoorrre him!!
We waited around for ages before the match to get his autograph, but couldn’t get it.
I wasn’t going to leave Murrayfield until I’d met him so we hung around outside the dressing
room for 2 hours after the game and I finally got to meet him.  What a lovely guy and I think
he's a great ambassador for Scottish rugby.  He signed my rugby ball and my programme and
I got to have a photo taken with him too.  It don’t get much better than that!!!!!
